Hedley is switching its Thunder Bay, Ont., live performance this week to a smaller venue, the newest change to a rocky cross-Canada tour suffering from sexual misconduct allegations in opposition to lead singer Jacob Hoggard.

As the band has continued touring, many diehard followers have attended and supported the group. Others have sought refunds. 

In an earlier assertion on TwitterHoggard admitted to objectifying girls, and stated the best way he has handled them has been “reckless and dismissive of their feelings.” He acknowledged that ladies could be harmed and degraded by that behaviour and stated “for this, I am truly sorry.” 

The band stated its members determined to take “an indefinite hiatus” after the conclusion of their present tour with a view to “work on our personal relationships and who we are as individuals.”
